CSD#33 - Blackwork Pattern 10
Pattern Information:
- Completed stitched area (W x H) approximately: 10.6cm x 10.6cm (~4.2" x 4.2")
- Fabric: 16-count Aida
- Number of colors: 1
- Backstitch only
Background:
This pattern can be done entirely in black for blackwork. For the test stitch, I have used DMC Variegated Floss (2nd photo) which gives the completed work one of a kind results as its unpredictable how the color will change as you stitch it. Once you get going, you would not even need to refer to the chart since its just repetitve mindless stitching.
I have indicated the use of #820 in this pattern to show a contrast with the gridlines for easier viewing (3rd photo).
(Feel free to play around with colors to suit your preference. Creativity is limitless)
