Pattern Information:
- Completed stitched area (W x H) approximately: 9cm x 6.8cm (~3.6" x 2.7")
- Fabric: 18-count Aida
- Number of colors: 1
- Backstitch only
Background:
Using the outline of a mushroom picture I took during the monsoon season (2nd picture), I filled the interior body with geometric patterns you commonly see in Sashiko embroidery or Blackwork embroidery. This pattern can be done in just a single color black or if you like, you can use different colors for each pattern.
Overall, its a relatively easy repetitive design for a nice little project. For your reference, hoop shown in pictures are of 5" size.
(Feel free to play around with colors to suit your preference. Creativity is limitless)
